The week's biggest single drop

Basso Venta R 105 12-Speed Attaque Carbon 50 DB — now ₹2,69,990 at The Bike Affair, down from ₹3,39,990. That's a 20% / ₹70,000 cut on a Shimano 105 12-speed road bike, in stock, with the same-spec Di2 build also moving from ₹3,79,990 to ₹3,19,990.

Italian carbon, modern groupset, real price action — this is one of the rare moments when a sub-₹3 lakh "serious" road bike on Shimano 105 12-speed actually happens in India.

What the data shows about availability

Across the 26,519 products currently in stock at the 18 stores GearLama tracks:

• Shimano is stocked at 11/18 stores — the most ubiquitous brand on Indian cycling shelves. SRAM, Lezyne, Merida, Topeak, Cannondale, and Magene are all at 9 stores each.
• 159 apparel items are at >40% off — far more than any other category. Bikes have 11, brakes have 11.
• The catalog has 1,056 distinct brands, but most stores carry only the top 30–40.

Methodology

GearLama pulls price snapshots whenever the crawler sees a change — about 8,000 price events in the last 30 days across the catalog. "Drops this week" means the same product had a lower minimum-variant price recorded in the last 7 days than the highest minimum-variant price recorded in that same window. The deeper-discount table uses current price vs the store's listed MRP.
